Hakkasan Group wanted to differentiate itself in the marketplace with their newest luxury venue in the ARIA Resort property. JEWEL preempted a market shift and defined the next-generation of Las Vegas Nightclubs. We were challenged to create a campaign that appealed to a sophisticated consumer and promoted an inclusive experience wherein they feel as though they are in the middle of the action.
Inspired by "The Heart of the Machine" fashion editorial by Steven Meisel and the dream-like photography of Kristian Schuller, we came up with the idea to shoot a surreal film trailer that takes the audience beyond the velvet ropes and invites them to Open the Unexpected.
